Hey Everyone,

I recently changed my phone and exported all my contacts from my Android device in VCF format. Now I need to import these contacts into Microsoft Outlook for office use. The problem is that when I try Outlook’s default import option, many contacts are either missing phone numbers or email fields are blank. I also tried converting VCF to CSV manually, but that completely messed up the contact structure. I have more than 3,000 contacts, so manual fixing is not an option. I’m looking for a safe and reliable way to convert VCF contacts into PST format without losing any important details.

Hey,

It‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ is quite a common situation that when you transfer contacts from a mobile device to Outlook, you face various issues. The root cause is that Outlook is not fully compatible with all vCard versions, particularly those that are created by Android and iOS devices.

While working with manual methods, users are prone to facing such problems as

  • The multiple phone numbers may not be shown correctly.

  • Email addresses being assigned to incorrect fields

  • The contact pictures are not getting saved.

  • Some contacts being skipped completely

In case one chooses vCard to PST Converter over CSV or Outlook’s simple import option, the result will be far more trustworthy since PST is the native format of Outlook and it keeps the original structure of contacts.

A proper solution should:

  • Be capable of handling bulk VCF files

  • Allow for the preservation of all the contact fields

  • Compile a PST file that is fully compatible with Outlook

It was similar to me. I found the solution in DataVare vCard Export Import, which made the transition smooth. After the PST was ready, the import in Outlook went flawlessly with no data ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌mismatch.
