Hey Guys,

I have an Excel spreadsheet that contains a large number of contacts collected over several years. Each row includes full name, multiple phone numbers, email addresses, company name, and physical address. Recently, I needed to import these contacts into my Android phone and Microsoft Outlook, but neither of them supports direct Excel imports. I tried saving the Excel file as CSV and using some online tools, but the output VCF files were either incomplete or had mismatched fields. Some contacts were missing phone numbers, while others had email addresses placed incorrectly. Since these contacts are important, I cannot afford any data loss. I am looking for a reliable and accurate method to convert Excel contacts into VCF format while preserving all fields properly.

Hi,

This is a very common issue when you have to work with Excel-based contact lists. Excel files are not made for contact management systems, which are based on structured formats like vCard (VCF). When you convert Excel to VCF by means of manual methods, you often have the problem of field mismatches, formatting issues, and data loss. The most secure way is to have a dedicated Excel to VCF Converter that supports proper column-to-field mapping. These programs enable you to designate the vCard fields to which the Excel columns (name, phone, email, etc.) correspond before the conversion.

I had a similar situation and I tried a few solutions and eventually decided that the WholeClear Excel to vCard Converter was the most reliable because it not only preserved all contact details accurately but also produced standard VCF files that are compatible with Android, Outlook, and iOS.

The main benefits are:

Accurate field mapping

Bulk contact conversion

No data corruption

The use of a professional converter is a guarantee that your data will be kept ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌intact
