I’ve been trying to move my Outlook PST contacts into Gmail, but nothing is working correctly. Gmail doesn’t support PST files at all, and when I tried converting PST to CSV through Outlook, the formatting got ruined. Several contact names merged together, country codes disappeared, and even email IDs were broken. I want a proper and reliable solution because I have more than 1,500 contacts saved in my PST file. What’s the safest method to convert PST into a clean VCF file that Gmail can import easily?

Hello,

This‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ happens so many times because PST is Outlook's private format, and Gmail can only understand VCF files. The most proper and precise way is to employ a dependable PST to VCF converter since manual exports usually break the data structure. CSV export usually is ruining the formatting and online tools cannot handle large PST files.

Here is the exact method that I used, and it worked perfectly:

My Step-by-Step Method

Insert the PST file into a reliable converter.

Look through the complete preview of your contacts (names, numbers, company, notes).

Opt for the Convert PST to vCard export option.

Write down the VCF file and then do the import into Google Contacts.

Sync with Android or Gmail account automatically.

The moment I used WholeClear PST to VCF Converter, it was able to keep every single detail: mobile numbers, office numbers, email IDs, birthdays, company names, and notes. If you are a neat and reliable PST to vCard converter, this method is a lot more secure than a manual export or free online ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌tools.
