When you have a big list of contacts, batch conversion is a must. However, quite a number of people are concerned about losing their data during the process. I only had the same thought when I was handed about 300 separate VCF files from a colleague. It would have taken me hours to do them one by one, so I decided to test some tools that support batch VCF to CSV conversion. The outcomes were different; in some cases, contacts were incorrectly converted, and in others, phone numbers were mixed between entries. The tool that kept the stability was Softaken vCard to CSV Converter, which did everything at once without changing the structure. The most important thing in batch conversion is consistent field mapping. If a device changes labels like "mobile" or "work," then the CSV file becomes a source of confusion. I would suggest that you check the final CSV in Excel to make sure that there are no entries that have been converted incorrectly. If everything is done properly batch conversion is completely safe and a great time-saver for large-scale operations. |
