When I try importing VCF into Excel, everything ends up stuck in one cell. How can I fix this?

Excel is unable to recognize the vCard formatting, so it combines all the information into one cell. The best way to do this is to convert the VCF file to CSV. CSV automatically separates the fields, so Excel can take each value separately. If you use a device made for this work, such as a VCF-to-CSV converter, you will not have to do the cleanup manually. The WholeClear vCard to CSV Converter is great because it associates the fields correctly and allows you to save VCF contacts to CSV with the correct separation of columns. Besides that, it supports VCF 2.1, 3.0 & 4.0; thus, there are no issues with the fields being mismatched. The data will be displayed as rows in a neat manner without any merging if the conversion has taken place. |
