How can I open an OFT file without Microsoft Outlook installed?

I had a similar issue when I came across an OFT file, but I hadn’t installed Microsoft Outlook on my device. Because OFT files are Outlook template files, they can neither be opened in other email clients nor in browsers. I first changed the file extension, which didn’t solve anything either. 

After a long search for a solution, I saw that the conversion of the OFT file into PDF, HTML, or MSG makes it easy to open the file without Outlook. For this purpose, I used GainTools OFT Converter. With its help, I converted the OFT file into HTML, which I then opened directly in a browser. That way, I was able to view the email content without installing Outlook, and the formatting was also properly maintained.
