Hi guy, My tv remote not working and I want to check battery is dead or not. Can I check using multimeter?

Hello John, You can check the tv remote battery by multimeter. First you have to set the multimeter on dc voltage (20 volt range),then probes of the multimeter are connect to the battery (common probes to -ve side of battery and the other probes to +ve side). Voltage of battery will display on the screen of digital multimeter.
